Making a Difference Together: Chattanooga Federal Supports East Brainerd Snack Pack Ministry
Giving back to our community is something we truly value at Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union and recently, we had the opportunity to do just that in a meaningful way.
On January 7, several members of the Chattanooga Federal team visited the East Brainerd Snack Pack Ministry to volunteer their time packing food bags for local students in need. These Snack Packs help ensure children have access to nutritious meals outside of school, supporting their well-being and success.
The East Brainerd Snack Pack Ministry partners with local schools and volunteers to address food insecurity among students by providing weekend and supplemental meals throughout the school year. You can learn more about their mission and impact here:
During the visit, we were also proud to present a $12,000 donation, continuing Chattanooga Federal’s annual support of this important organization.
“Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union is pleased to support the SnackPack Ministry with a $12,000 donation again this year,” said Mark Fraker, CEO of Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union. “This contribution reflects our ongoing commitment to addressing food insecurity and supporting organizations that make a meaningful and measurable impact on children and families in our community.”
“We are honored to have Chattanooga Federal Employees Credit Union as one of our partners with the Snack Pack Ministry,” said Janice Robertson. “This monetary donation will provide 120 children with a Snack Pack over the weekend for an entire school year. We are also thankful for their willingness to help pack these bags and bring joy to others.”
We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the East Brainerd Snack Pack Ministry and to play a small role in helping make a difference for children and families right here in our community.
Thank you for being part of a credit union that believes in making a difference.
